This month’s reading is going to work a little differently. Although I’m still intuitively working with the cards, I’m still using their traditional meaning in a more traditional layout. Each card represents four distinct spaces within your energy and soul body.
This is what’s currently occupying your thoughts at this time. This can sometimes be identified as the Monkey Mind.
This is what I consider the quiet whisper in the back of your mind, the one you often neglect to listen to but probably should consider more often.
This is your higher-self or soul-self in communication with your 3D physical-self. Consider you in future moving back in time to give you advice as of today. This looks a lot like little nudges that redirect and readjusts you as needed on your path. This may feel like a nudging hunger that you can’t quite shake.
And the likely outcome is based on your trajectory outcome should you stay on this current path. As always, take what resonates and leave the rest.
Because you don’t have enough information or facts from the source, it may be causing you to overthink a situation, whereby you are forming shitty first drafts. This may be causing you to unnecessarily keep your guard up and isolated yourself out of fear of the outcome. You may be making a mountain out of a mole hill. However this is here to remind you to pull your energy away from the past and out of the future. When you live in one or both of those areas, you allow depression and anxiety to creep its way in, robbing you of your joy and peace. Come back to the present. Honor what you’ve been through and keep gratitude for everything you’ve experienced and learned this far. You would not be the stronger, braver person you see before you had you not experienced life’s major transformations. You can’t change the past and worrying about the future is only going to lead to self sabotaging behavior. In this moment, what are 3 things going right in your life right now. Name them before you move on to the next card.
There may be an imbalance in your sacral chakra. This may have manifested within your physical body and showing up as gastric intestinal issues. This is lighting up for you to address because you’re neglecting your sensual self. Traditionally the sacral chakra is the source of creativity, pleasure and abundance. When not in balance, you can be prone to unhealthy codependent and addictive behavior. This can cause you to overreact then feel guilty afterwards. At worst this inflammatory response can have you spiraling down into depression and shame. You can balance this area by moving your body through dance (even in your bedroom or shower), flowing through yoga practice, or simply taking yourself for a walk. Another way is to seduce yourself first. What turns you on? What does your lover do that turns you on? Now do this to yourself. For me, it’s the feeling of silk or cashmere against my bare skin, or surrounding myself by seducing aromas that arouse my senses. The malty flavor and texture of a ripe mango on my tongue, or listening to soulful music that arouses my Shakti energy. My favorite soulful song at the moment is “Electric (feat. Khalid)” by Alina Baraz. And finally, practice emotional awareness by being a bit more discriminative about who and what you allow to penetrate your space. Remember, self love starts with self respect.
Leave the shame and pride by the trash where it belongs. Your inner truth is revealing itself to you. It’s emerging like a cool morning sunrise. Feeling comfortable in your own skin requires you to remove the mask and show everyone you’re true self. If you want to to be tough, if you want to be rebellious, if you want be a badass, show yourself to everyone. EVERYONE!!! Remove your work mask, your family mask, your home mask, your friend mask—all of them. There’s a question that keeps popping up in my head over and over. Who would you be if you weren’t constantly trying to look so stoic or low key cool? Would you be dorky, silly, playful? Extroverted or introverted? If your natural disposition is geared toward introversion, don’t force yourself to agonizingly sit through a party where you have to be turned on and tuned up, it’ll only leave you drained and resentful for having gone in the first place. This is where the words, “Thank you but no thank you” yield such great power. Think of how much energy and space you would get back if you simply just said no. This will help you to cultivating your own truth avoid those ambivalent relationships which has proven to be more toxic than toxic relationships.
You have matured. Your transformation has brought you to a seductive balance of your masculine and feminine sides. This is what leveling up feels like and it’s juicy. You have moved past the duality thinking such as right vs. wrong, good vs. evil, black vs. white, etc. Looking at things without judgement is what I believe to one of the hardest things we can do, especially because we are constantly surrounded and bombarded by it on a daily basis—Comparison breeds judging thoughts. This over saturation of judgmental thinking can be hard to navigate through, especially when it’s targeted at you. Continue to stick to your maskless truth regardless of the judgements and criticisms. Remember that people cast judgments on those they are intimidated by. Those who are happiest in their own skin are not intimidated by others. Don’t allow others to box you and scare you back down into your smaller self. If your bight light hurts their eyes, hand them a pair of sunglasses. Let yourself be seen, it’s beyond alluring. Keeping this part of yourself active and using discernment will only attract the right attention and people into your life. One final thought, if you think no one sees you, they do and they love your authenticity, your courage, and self respect. Their ego and stoicism just wont allow them to tell you... yet. Give them time and love them. Your are motivating and reaching far more than you think.
